1 cup sugar
1 1/2 cup hot water
1/2 cup lemon juice
2 tbsp rose-water
1. Dissolve sugar in hot water over a medium heat. Add juice and rose-water.
2. Let cool completely and chill in the refrigerator.
3. Prepare according to your ice cream maker instructions. If you do not have an ice cream maker follow these instructions.
David liked this. He says, “It tastes like lemon but smells like flowers. This is awesome!” I however DO NOT LIKE ROSE FLAVORING. This is sad because Brits sure like their flower flavoring. Rose, lavender, and violet are frequently seen in pastries. I even came across a violet flavored toffee during Halloween. I would much rather smell flowers than eat them.
